Cornwall writeup

 A new record here: coming up on three years between concert date and writeup. (Finally getting around this sabbatical semester to what I hope will be a steady catch-up on undocumented past concerts, now numbering over 50.) I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to remember anything, but it worked out fine. The recording and photos helped a lot.

Sadly but aptly, the writeup also features a memorial to one of the organizers, Cornwall Congregational’s organist Charles Callahan, who passed just months after this concert, on Christmas Day 2023.

As I mentioned briefly there, this was one of a surprisingly large number of PET concerts where our event is the first one in a newly dedicated or renovated community space, or on a newly acquired or newly refurbished instrument. That will be its own blog post someday.
